Coast to Coast is a family run surf school with 3 experienced British Surf Association (BSA) instructors. We pride ourselves on providing high quality friendly instruction in the art of surfing. Teaching you the importance of safety and wave ettiquette while having fun learning how to catch waves and stand!

Surfing with Coast to Coast is open to all ages (from 7 to 70) and we have a range of lessons and surf courses that introduce beginners, improvers and intermediates to the fun and enjoyment of Scotland's beautiful coastline. We also cater for individuals and group bookings.

Coast to Coast offer surf lessons at the closest consistently surfable beach to Edinburgh and Glasgow - Belhaven bay (next to the sunny coastal town of Dunbar). We have our headquarters in Dunbar but are independent of any physical surf shop and as such are flexible to offer surf lessons 7 days a week (including evenings) locally at Belhaven beach or if the surf is poor we can also offer surf adventures with our experienced guides searching for perfect waves on the most remote edges of Scotland's mainland and Islands (see surf tours).

We don't believe in waiting lists, so if you're flexible and want to surf we can get you in the water within the week!

Surf n Yoga Coast to Coast will be teaming up with Annie Beatty, for professional yoga instruction alongside our surf weekends - more details coming soon.

We also sell new Snugg wetsuits in our opinion the best brand for coldwater surfing and we are currently selling 2nd hand Snugg wetsuits, boots, mitts and hoods (all 6-9 months old) plus a few soft surfboard deals.

Scottish Surf Competitions The Scottish competition surfing scene is up and running The Gathering of the Clans on October 25th/26th in Fraserburgh. This competition sees all the Scottish clubs get together for a big weekend of surfing with reigning champions Fraserburgh looking to hold onto the title with competition from all regions of Scotland. The Competition has been called off due to lack of surf. The Scottish bodyboarding championships was held on October 25th/26th on the north coast. See events for details.The "Scottish Open" section of the Quicksilver UKPS surfing tour will take place on October 25th - Nov 1st. This sees the top British surfers come and surf NE England/ Scotland's North coast and Northern Ireland.
